I am Ana Canseco, I hold a Bachelor´s Degree in Law from Mexico (so, yes! I know that feeling of frustration- having a freshly printed university degree that is almost no help in Canada), and recently completed the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University. I am a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant in good standing with the College of Citizenship and Immigration Consultants (Click HERE to verify my status), and founder of Merhouse Immigration Solutions. 

My professional experience over the years includes ocean import operations, translation and immigration.

I still remember driving with my then- fiancée from Veracruz to Puebla (in Mexico) and filling out, by hand, the immigration forms that I would later ask one of my beloved aunts to fill out for me using a typewriter. This gives you an idea of how long ago I started my immigration journey, and I have been wanting to work in immigration ever since.

What I love most about this job is knowing that I can have a positive impact on someone’s life; that I can be of service. I have been in your shoes. I know how significant it is.
