About US

Ana-Canseco

My professional experience over the years includes ocean import operations, translation and immigration.

I still remember driving with my then- fiancée from Veracruz to Puebla (in Mexico) and filling out, by hand, the immigration forms that I would later ask one of my beloved aunts to fill out for me using a typewriter. This gives you an idea of how long ago I started my immigration journey, and I have been wanting to work in immigration ever since.

What I love most about this job is knowing that I can have a positive impact on someone’s life; that I can be of service. I have been in your shoes. I know how significant it is. What we offer at Merhouse Immigration is the peace of mind of not being alone in your immigration journey. You will have our professional guidance in the form of a personalized approach that will help you navigate the complexities of the immigration process.

We can’t wait to hear from you. Let’s connect!

As an immigrant myself, my journey to Canada has profoundly shaped my perspective. I transitioned from being a Temporary Foreign Worker in 2014 to achieving Canadian citizenship in 2021. This firsthand experience allows me to deeply empathize with the challenges my clients face, inspiring me to guide them through the complexities of their Canadian immigration journey with confidence and care.

I hold a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, where I was honored with the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) Academic Excellence Award for earning the highest GPA in my graduating class. My academic background also includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Silliman University in the Philippines and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Bow Valley College in Calgary, AB.

Over the past 11 years since moving to Canada from the United Arab Emirates, I have gained diverse professional experience across multiple industries. In the last five years, I have taken on progressive roles in Human Resources, equipping me with an in-depth understanding of Canada’s job market and work culture. This expertise, combined with my lived experience as an immigrant, enables me to provide strategic and practical support to my clients as they embark on their Canadian journey.
